QUICK RELEVANT TARGETTING



As the twitter feed is a feed that continues throughout the day, although you might have 20,000 followers, only a fraction of them will see your latest tweet as not all will be logged in at once.

I would recommend looking at the latest tweet that appears in your feed, clicking on the follower and viewing their profile, location, tweets to see if you can promote anything that may be of interest to them. If the latest person to tweet on your feed is from Dallas, then do a tweet that is relevant to the products and promotions you can provide in Dallas.

If someones latest tweet was made 7 seconds ago, you have got more chance of that person seeing your latest tweet than your entire 20,000 followers.
